PA BRIDGETON — Bridgeton Township Supervisors awarded the 2026-27 rock salt contract to Riverside Construction at $75 per ton. The board voted unanimously to approve the estimated $11,250 contract for 150 tons following review of competing bids from Morton Salt Inc. at $82.27 per ton and Eastern Salt at $97 per ton. Supervisors also voted unanimously to hire Samantha Belcher for the township garage, effective retroactively to August 13, and approved August and September bills and payroll totaling $22,969.94.
The Fire Company submitted a proposal for a 40-by-60-foot equipment building; supervisors said they would exercise due diligence in reviewing the proposal.
